Acceptable use policy

Rules for using our network and services.

This policy applies to everyone who uses the network, address space, or services operated by Project Takoyaki Technologies ("we", "us"). By using them you agree to it. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask us first at [email protected].

Prohibited activity

You may not use our network or address space to:

  • Break any applicable law, or help someone else do so.
  • Send unsolicited bulk email or other spam, or host content advertised by it.
  • Launch or take part in denial of service attacks, or run open resolvers, open relays, or reflectors that can be abused for them.
  • Scan, probe, or attempt to access systems you do not have permission to test.
  • Distribute malware, operate botnet infrastructure, or host phishing pages.
  • Spoof source addresses or originate routes for address space you are not authorized to use.
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy of others.
  • Interfere with the operation of our network or anyone else's.

Security and responsibility

You are responsible for every system you run on our network and for the traffic it sends. Keep software patched, use strong credentials, and act promptly when we tell you about a problem.

Enforcement

We investigate reported violations. Depending on severity we may warn you, filter traffic, suspend service, or end it. Where activity is causing ongoing harm, we may act first and contact you afterwards. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Reporting violations

Report violations by email to [email protected]. The abuse page lists what to include.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date on this page reflects the latest version.
